I’ve been saying for a while now, that there’s a good chance the economy is going to fall deeper into this recession more so than anybody is expecting.
While I still believe that to be true, recently positive economic data has come out suggesting that there may be a chance the economy is on a recovery trajectory.
Whether this means the economy is going to crash or not is still up in the air. But if nothing else it’s a good sign.

We are all told we need to vote, and that it is our civic duty to vote as “free people.” But have you ever wondered if your vote will even matter? Will it make a difference?
The truth is that while your vote will be counted, in the end the government won’t change regardless of who gets elected.
Either candidate will not have much effect on the continued growth in the size, scale, and power of the government. Both candidates will contribute to the increase national debt, deficit, governmental control of your life, and poor management of tax payers money.

Americans want to live a life of luxury, while saddling the younger generations with its debt.
With debt increasing at an ungodly rate, and that’s putting it mildly, the younger generation will be the ones who have to pay for the poor choices of the older generation.
The current generation making decisions in the government and personal spending habits are not setting things up for a bright future for our children and grandchildren. They are setting them up to get screwed over by the Mount Everest of debt that will inevitably fall in their lap.

Taxation is theft. It is money demanded and required to be paid to the government, or else.
We shouldn’t be mad if someone didn’t pay as much as we think or feel they should have. If they have found legal ways to not have to pay as much, good on them.
But think about this: What if taxes were optional? Would you could choose to pay them? Would you pay more just because you made more money? What programs would people care enough to fund voluntarily? Would the government be smaller?

I guess it’s time for another COVID about-face. Now the WHO says that keeping lockdowns in place is bad for the poor.
Its ironic how they are just now realizing this. 7 months ago it was acceptable to force the poor, or everyone for that matter, indoors and not live their lives. Now all of the sudden, keeping people locked indoors is no longer the recommendation.
This change in narrative is not surprising, as it all comes down to a matter of government control, lobbying, and politics.
